Biomechanics

Dr. Mengoni completed his PhD in Kinesiology at Oregon State University where he studied the effect of feedback on penultimate step deceleration during reactive cutting to reduce ACL injuries. Dr. Mengoni's research is focused on the effects of feedback on improving movement mechanics during dynamic tasks. I am humbled to have the opportunity to work with students and facilitate their growth as people, learners, and future leaders. It is my goal to leverage students' own personal experiences to encourage experiential learning that helps them understand how concepts are applied in their everyday lives and their future careers. My enthusiasm for biomechanics research is something that I enjoy sharing with others to promote safer and more efficient movement in people of all ages and backgrounds.
