91³Ô¹ÏÍø University offers several graduate certificates designed to assist in career acceleration featuring specialized coursework in specific areas of study. Certificates are awarded through the Office of Degree Evaluation, who assists students with questions regarding the application for graduation and graduate certificate requirements.

Certificate Conferral

  • Students earning a graduate certificate must complete the application to graduate before their certificate can be conferred. The application is within the Student Profile page in Zagweb. Instructions may be found here: Apply to Graduate.
  • You’ll receive an email to your Zagmail address when your certificate has been granted.
  • After your certificate is awarded, you can order your official transcript immediately through Zagweb or our Transcript Order Page. Employers often request an official transcript for verification, as they include your name, certificate title, date of conferral, and coursework. Your certificate will display your name, certificate title, and date of conferral.

Certificate Mailing

  • Graduate certificates are mailed to the permanent address on file in Zagweb approximately four to six weeks after it is posted to your student record. If no permanent address is listed, the active mailing address will be used. Please ensure your addresses are up to date, if neither address is provided, the certificate will not be mailed.
  • Students with academic holds on their student account will not receive their certificate until the holds are released. Please contact Student Accounts for assistance.

Commencement Ceremony

Students earning their graduate certificate are invited to participate in the yearly Graduate and Doctoral Commencement Ceremony held once a year in May. Attending the ceremony is not mandatory to receive your certificate. Graduate certificate honoree’s academic regalia consists of a gown only, with no cap or hood. If you wish to attend, please inform the Office of Degree Evaluation of your desire to participate. Visit the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Commencement website for ceremony details.
