The program offers one minor:
- Minor in Musical Theatre
Please reference the for course requirements specific to the Musical Theatre minor.
The Minor in Musical Theatre offers academic experiences that synthesize the performing arts of music, dance, and theatre through a Jesuit lens. Dedicated to the holistic development of the performers, educators, and changemakers of tomorrow, the curriculum explores the genre through diverse modalities and approaches.
Course offerings expose students to the technical and performative skills needed to develop their individual artistic voice. By further investigating their craft through the application of education and social justice, students combine personal formation with civic engagement to serve the marginalized and vulnerable. Regardless of their career pursuits post-graduation, students in the program gain self-confidence, communication skills, vulnerability, critical observation, and servant leadership that will aid them professionally and kindle a passion for putting good into the world through the performing arts.
