Payne Center for Leadership Development

The Payne Center for Leadership Development helps students make meaning of their leadership experiences and translate that learning into lifelong skills. The center supports all students seeking to grow as leaders and inspire change on campus, in their communities and around the world.

91³Ô¹ÏÍø is home to more than 800 student leaders who facilitate and lead over 150 clubs and organizations — creating opportunities for community building and positive change.

Through programs rooted in Jesuit values — knowing self, building community and impacting the world — the Payne Center for Leadership Development offers workshops, guest speakers and the monthly Identity & Leadership series. Students also benefit from real-time coaching, mentoring and guided reflection.

The center is home to the Experiential Leadership Institute, a yearlong program for sophomore and junior students, and partners with Learns to Lead, a living-learning community for first-year students.

Our Mission:

The Payne Center for Leadership Development empowers and prepares all students for lives of leadership and service that affect positive change.
